Our Boy is Seven
Today, our boy Mason is seven.
I rarely post about “life stuff” on the blog, but Mason is an important player here at The 236 (he really should have his own “About” page!)
He’s our right-hand fur-man when it comes to projects around the house. He likes to be involved in everything. Like, ev.ery.thing. You can always find him four steps (tehehe) behind Ted when he is busily working away — those two are tight.
Gosh, he’s cute. And, he’s loyal. He knows who he loves, and I’m okay that he slightly loves Ted more than he loves me (although, Ted would disagree — he says that Mason loves us both equally.)
It’s hard to believe that almost seven years ago, Mason came into my life as a foster puppy from a local Dog Guide training facility that I was working at. He was only supposed to be in my care for seven months, but here he is seven years later. I’m glad to report that he failed the program and that we were able to adopt him from the school. In fact, Mason was dismissed from the program on Valentine’s Day and turned out to be Ted’s most favourite gift ever!
And, since he’s so gosh-darn-cute, here’s another batch of photos. Yes, proud fur-momma over up in herrrreeeeee…….
Happy seventh birthday, bud! xo

D’aaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. What a cute story! I love how adorable and tiny he looks compared to now. Happy seventh (or 49th) birthday Mason, wishing you many more happy, tail wagging filled years with the 236 crew!
I can’t believe it’s been this long. I remember when you got him
I know! Time flies!
